Bishop Dr. Olleo L. Cromwell, II is the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Chesapeake, Virginia. Believing that a mans footsteps are ordered by the Lord, Pastor Cromwell heeded the call to Pastor Trinity Baptist Church in 1989. Under his leadership,  Trinity has increased to more than four thousand members.

Bishop Crowell was licensed to preach the gospel on September 22, 1974. At the age of twenty-two, Bishop Cromwell began his lifetime commitment of service by serving as the Under Shepherd of the Willie Chapel Baptist Church in Lancaster, Virginia for three years. In 1978 he was called to Pastor the New Oak Grove Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia...where he served faithfully for twenty years.

Upon the passing of his father, Trinity unanimously voted to continue the Cromwell legacy by passing the helm on to him. His love for the congregation of New Oak Grove along with his devotion to the vision set in place by his father allowed him to tirelessly lead both congregations for ten years until 1998. Following the direction of God, he then set his focus on the Trinity vineyard and has since then been devoted to leading the ministry founded by his father.

As pastor, Bishop Cromwell has committed himself to learning, teaching, and preaching God’s Word at every opportunity presented to him. This commitment is reinforced through the church’s vision statement: “To Win The Lost, Build The Believer, And Equip The Worker". The standards we uphold are taken directly from God’s Word. The infallibility of God’s Word is the foundation of all that he does. Bishop Cromwell's ministry is predicated upon the words of Mark 11:23-24, ‘For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Bishop Cromwell is renowned for this impeccable character, good will, and ministry accomplishments during his nearly forty years of Godly service. He was consecrated into the office of Bishop on May 2, 2014.
